Volunteers are the heart of Scouting. We bring together people of all ages (18+ with no upper limit), backgrounds, and skillsets, all united by a shared goal—teaching skills for life.

Be A Leader
Our Leaders and Section Assistants work together to create and deliver an engaging and diverse programme for over 150 young people across our four sections.
Our Leaders come from all walks of life—some have been part of Scouting since childhood, while others got involved when their own children joined and quickly embraced the Scouting spirit.
The key takeaway? Your experience doesn’t matter—what matters is your enthusiasm. Everyone has something valuable to bring to the team as we work together to inspire the next generation.
Join The Board
Our Group Trustee Board operates behind the scenes, ensuring the smooth running of our group and the upkeep of our hall.
At the core of the team are some key roles: Chair and Treasurer, supported by a dedicated group of adult volunteers.
Together, they oversee fundraising efforts, manage financial decisions, handle hall maintenance, and ensure we have the facilities and resources needed to continue teaching skills for life.
